Growth Is Slow, But So Is Becoming Iconic
Can we get real for a sec?
This is definitely one of those practice what you preach moments, but I never said I was perfect (saying this in my Amaya LI voice…IYKYK). We live in a world where everyone’s flaunting their 7-day glow-up, “overnight” six-figure launch (LOL), and engagement rings that look like they came with a yacht. And while I love to see everyone win, here’s what they’re not showing you:
Real growth? Soul-level, bank-account-raising, self-worth-rooted growth?
It’s slow. It’s messy, and it doesn’t always come with a cute filter. But let me be clear: slow growth is still growth — and it’s powerful AF.
Fast Isn't Always A Win
We weren’t meant to bloom overnight. You don’t rush a diamond. Michelin star meals aren’t microwavable. You don’t hustle your way into your divine purpose. You rise into it — one intentional, aligned, soul-led move at a time. If it’s taking longer than you expected? Good. We all don’t come from privileged backgrounds to get things done overnight. We’re not here for one-hit wonders. We’re here for legacy.
You’re Growing Even When It Looks Like Nothing’s Happening
Here’s the tea: the most powerful growth happens underground — in the shadows, in the silence, in the moments when it feels like nothing is moving or when nobody is clapping. Just because you can’t see the shift doesn’t mean it’s not happening.
That moment you set a boundary? Growth.
That day you chose rest instead of burnout? Growth.
That month your bank account didn’t change, but your mindset did? Growth.
You're not stuck. You're rooting.
Rule: Slow ≠ Weak
Don’t confuse “slow” with “small.”
Slow growth is:
Strategic.
Sacred.
Sustainable.
It’s what makes you safe in your own success. It’s the difference between a sparkler and a wildfire. One burns out quick. The other transforms the entire landscape.
Affirmations the Becoming:
Repeat:
“My growth is unfolding in divine timing.”
“I honor every slow, sacred step of my evolution.”
“I’m not behind — I’m building something unshakeable.”
“What’s for me is coming, and I don’t have to rush to receive it.”
So... What’s the Rush?
Why are you sprinting when your soul came here to saunter? Why are you comparing your path to someone else’s highlight reel? Your journey isn’t on delay — it’s in the design stages. Trust the pace. Honor the pauses. Celebrate the small wins like they’re champagne moments — because they are.
Your next level is coming. And when it does?
You’ll look back at this “slow season” and realize:
💫 It wasn’t a detour. It was your glow-up in disguise. 💫
